Planning Using Primavera Project Planner P3 Version 3.1 Revised 2006

P3 has many options for printing and reporting project data. P3 also has a Tabular Reporting (text) and a Graphical Reporting module in addition to the standard printing that will be covered in detail in this chapter.
This chapter will examine the following topics:
How to create and delete page breaks
The print preview screen and the options at print preview including setting the titles
Page set up
The grayscale options
Print setup where you may also print to a file and
Picture Preview where you may save your report in Windows metafile format.
Important A recommended practice is to take a complete copy of your project each time you report to the client or management to allow you to reproduce these reports at any time in the future. You may save the project into the same directory provided you change the file name.
The page break option allows you to insert or remove a page break.
Select View, Page Breaks to see the page breaks on the screen.
You may then manually insert page breaks using Insert, Page Break or Ctl Enter and
Remove all the page breaks by Insert, Clear all page breaks.
The page breaks are displayed with a blue shade line across the screen.
You are now at the stage of being able to print out the schedule. To do this use File, Print Preview
