Description
Cylindrical Body DC Servomotors are precision devices designed to control the position, speed, and torque of mechanical systems. They are characterized by their cylindrical shape, which houses the motor components, including the rotor and stator. These servomotors are integral in systems requiring precise control and are known for their ability to maintain high torque at high speeds.
Working Principle
Cylindrical Body DC Servomotors operate based on the interaction between a magnetized rotor and a stator. The rotor, equipped with permanent magnets, rotates within the stator, which contains windings. When electrical current passes through the stator windings, it creates a magnetic field that interacts with the rotor, causing it to turn. This rotation is controlled through a closed-loop system that uses feedback from an encoder or resolver to adjust the motor's position and speed accurately. The ability to provide constant positional feedback makes these servomotors highly efficient and responsive, especially in high-speed applications .
Applications
