Single line of text

  1. Menu bar with Draw-Text-Single Line Text and:

    prompt

    Specify start point of text or [Justify/Style]

    enter

    20,70

    prompt

    Specify height and enter 8

    prompt

    Specify rotation angle of text<0.0> and enter 0

    and

    1. rectangular box with flashing cursor displayed

    2. this is the text start point at 20,70

    enter

    TEXT can be a one line entry

    and

    cursor 'jumps' to start of next line i.e. any more lines of text

    respond

    press the key to end the command.

  2. Repeat the Draw-Text-Single Line Text sequence with:

    1. start point: 20,280

    2. height: 12

    3. rotation: 0

    4. text: TEXT EXRECISE two returns ( Note: this spelling is deliberate.)

  3. At the command line enter DTEXT and enter

    1. start point: 230,250

    2. height: 7.5

    3. rotation: 12

    4. text: Keyboard DTEXT entry .

  4. Notes

    1. the text is displayed on the screen as you enter it from the keyboard

    2. this is referred to as dynamic text.
