Beginning AutoCAD 2006

Text items added to a drawing can be 'justified', i.e. positioned to user specifications.
AutoCAD 2006 has several justification positions, these being:
six basic: left, align, fit, centre, middle, right.
nine additional: TL, TC, TR, ML, MC, MR, BL, BC, BR.
Continue with WORKDRG, layer TEXT current and toolbars Draw, Modify and Object Snap.
At the command line enter TEXT

| respond | Snap to Endpoint icon and pick line 1 'at top end' |
| prompt | Specify height and enter 6 |
| prompt | Specify rotation angle of text and enter 0 |
| enter | This is NORMAL |
| enter | i.e. LEFT justified text. |
