Creating a text style from a dialogue box

  1. From the menu bar select Format-Text Style and

    prompt

    Text Style dialogue box

    with

    1. ST1 as the Style Name as we have just used this style

    2. romans.shx as the Font Name

    3. Height: 0.0, Width Factor: 1.00, Oblique Angle: 0.0

    respond

    pick New and:

    prompt

    New Text Style dialogue box

    respond

    1. alter Style Name to ST2

    2. pick OK

    prompt

    with

    ST2 as the Style Name

    respond

    1. pick the scroll arrow at right of romans.shx

    2. scroll and pick italicc.shx

    3. ensure that: Height: 0.0, Width Factor: 1.00, Oblique Angle: 0.0

    4. note the Preview box Figure 13.3

    5. pick Apply then Close.

  2. Now use the Text Style dialogue box to create another text style with:

    a style name and font name:

    ST3 and Arial Black

    b height, width factor and oblique angle:

    0, 1, 0

    c backwards, upside-down, vertical:

    all OFF.

    1. using the Text Style dialogue box, scroll at Style Name, pick ST1 then close the dialogue box

    2. save A3PAPER file as both a template and drawing file, updated the existing file

    3. we have now saved the three created text style (ST1, ST2 and ST3) to our A3PAPER standard sheet.
