APEM's A01 Series modular pushbutton switches feature total modular construction for easy assembly, environmental protection to IP65, 50,000 cycles min. electrical life and, they are recognized by UL, CSA, VDE and CE agencies.

Each switch consists of a screen available in 8 cosmetic colors, a lamp, if illumination is required, an operator, and a single pole, double pole, three pole or four pole switch block. Illuminated models offer a choice of filament, neon or LED lamps, or non-illuminated models are also available. The individual parts snap securely together for quick and reliable assembly.

Screen engraving can be provided as well as insert able legends that fit beneath the screen. Three front panel bezel configurations are optional, a .709" dia. round, a .209" square, or a .709" x .945" rectangular. These selections not only provide contemporary styling to a front panel, but also will accommodate virtually any legend desired.

Both maintained and momentary electrical configurations are available for these models with ratings of 10 mA at 5 VAC min. to 6 A at 250 VAC max. Initial contact resistance is 10 milliohms max. And dielectric strength 750 volts between open contacts and 5000 volts live to accessible. Mechanical life for momentary models is in excess of 1,000,000 cycles, and for maintained models, 100,000 cycles.

To complement these pushbuttons, APEM also has indicators, rotary lever switches, key lock switches and emergency stop switches in this family, and they use some of the same parts. Use of these products enables minimum inventory and the ability to produce different switch or indicator types sharing these parts.
