TOUCH SCREENS
Touch screens are often used as an alternative, or in addition to, more traditional human-machine interface technologies, such as a membrane switch or keyboard. The use of a touch screen allows the keypad to be reconfigured as desired to suit the application. Because of their intuitive nature, touch screens are often used in applications where the user cannot be trained to interface with the device. Kiosks and point of sale devices exemplify these applications. Memtron specializes in the integration of various technologies such as optical lamination (to combine touch screens with any of our human-machine interface solutions).
Memtron Input Components specializes in the design and manufacturing of components associated with input technologies, including membrane switches, elastomeric keypads, flex circuits, and touch screens.
