Custom Precision Spindles
Designed to meet your special application parameters. In addition to the designs shown below, RAS capabilities include aerostatic and hydrostatic spindles.
Gear Driven Spindles
Produce high torque capacity at low speeds. Double enveloping or parallel helical gear reducing systems are available for extreme, heavy duty applications.
Cluster Spindles
Can be utilized in applications where closely spaced bores and/or drilled holes are grouped. Round body, cartridge, or miniature block spindles may be configured with suitable drives to perform various operations.
Cradle-Mount Spindles
Are supported on the spindle centreline, which minimizes the effect of thermal distortion. Cast-in-place cooling fins accelerate the dissipation of heat. Recommended for applications where positional or geometric accuracies are critical.
