ELECTROPERMANENT CHUCKS WITH RADIAL POLE

Specialelectro-permanent chucks suitable for grinding and general chip removal (typically turning) machining of rings or circular work-pieces ingeneral, on horizontal or vertical machines even of big dimensions. Once the magnetic field is activated, the work-piece is clamped up to the outer parts of the chuck by a well distributed force so as to prevent any deformation or change. T-slots and/or holes can be realized onto the pole plate to allow the mounting of pole extensions and/or fixtures of different kinds. The use of such pole extensions allows an easy access in machining the outer, inner diameters and top surfaces of the pieces as well in one single positioning. Holding magnetic force can be regulated by means of the electronic control unit.
