Tower Optical's Microscope Camera Coupler Provides Oversized Clear Aperture to Take Advantage of New CCD Arrays in Scientific and Industrial Imaging Cameras.

Tower Optical Corp. has just announced the availability of a 1.0X C-Mount Camera Coupler for microscopes with a standard 38mm ISO photoport. This new coupler provides a Clear Aperture (CA) of more than 20mm thereby allowing use of larger CCD arrays in the latest Scientific and Industrial imaging cameras.

The Camera Coupler is an important accessory for today's modern microscope. It allows the use of video CCD cameras to capture valuable images during Research and Development, Failure Analysis, scientific investigation as well as other microscopy applications.

The magnification factor of the CC-1.0X is 1.0X. The CC-1.0X provides a clear aperture of more than 20mm, larger than most similar products, providing both increased field-of-view and light transmission of the microscope image to the camera.
