3000 Volt, 2 Amp, High Voltage, High Current Diode HV Component Associates

The HVW3 Diode is now available from HVCA. Its compact size makes it ideal for capacitor discharge system applications such as ignition systems, lighting systems and lasers. It is a 3,000 Volt, 2 Amp, high current, high surge diode that can handle a 300 Amp (8.3 ms) surge. Maximum average forward current is 2 Amps at 55º C with a maximum forward voltage drop of 3.0 volts.

Samples are now available for OEM applications. Production delivery is typically from stock.
