Tungsten Halogen Lamp

Product Announcement from Heraeus Noblelight America LLC

Tungsten halogen lamps are operated singly or in combination with a deuterium lamp to improve the spectral emission for analytical instruments in the visible range. The range of power output (from 5 W to 200 W) and the service life (from 50 to 2,000 hours) depend on the operating conditions. Heraeus tungsten halogen lamps are designed and made especially for use in analytical instruments and not for general illumination. The following characteristics distinguish them from many other TH lamps on the market:

    • The use of quartz enables transmission even below 380 nm
    • Careful control of the cathode for more precise light output
    • Preadjusted versions for many instruments
